How to use this calculator
Measure the complete loaded pallet length, width and height, including goods and pallet base, then enter the number of identical pallets.
Formula and method
Pallet CBM = loaded length × loaded width × loaded height in metres. Total shipment CBM = pallet CBM × number of pallets.
Worked example
A loaded pallet measuring 1.2 × 1.0 × 1.5 m occupies 1.8 m³. Four identical pallets total 7.2 m³.
What to check before you ship
Shipment cube alone does not account for non-stackability, vehicle floor positions, gaps between pallets or payload restrictions.
Why the result matters
Accurate dimensions and weights help with quoting, space planning and avoiding preventable adjustments. Always use the packaged outside dimensions that will actually be tendered for transport, and verify any carrier-specific rules that affect billing or classification.
