How to use this calculator
Enter the packed dimensions, quantity and actual weight per identical unit. Then select the metric or imperial billing system and the divisor used for your service.
Formula and method
Actual shipment weight is unit weight × quantity. Volumetric weight is calculated from package cube and the selected divisor. The tool reports the greater value as the chargeable-weight estimate.
Worked example
If ten boxes weigh 7 kg each, actual weight is 70 kg. If their combined volumetric weight is 96 kg under the selected divisor, the chargeable-weight estimate is 96 kg.
What to check before you ship
This is a planning calculation. Minimum charges, rounding increments, oversize rules and carrier-specific tariffs can alter the final billed weight or price.
