This is a quote-component calculator. Enter rates from your carrier, broker or lane assumptions rather than treating the defaults as market rates.

Pallet freight quotes often contain several components. This calculator keeps the arithmetic transparent when you already have a rate per pallet and known fixed or percentage charges.

How to use this calculator

Enter pallet quantity, base rate per pallet, pickup and delivery charges, fuel percentage and any other accessorial total. Use one currency consistently.

Formula and method

Base linehaul = pallets × rate per pallet. Fuel surcharge is applied to that base linehaul in this model, then fixed charges and accessorials are added.

Worked example

Four pallets at 180 each create 720 of base linehaul. A 12% fuel surcharge adds 86.40 before pickup, delivery and other charges.

What to check before you ship

This is not a market-rate estimator. Enter quote components from your carrier, broker or scenario. Freight class, lane, distance, appointment fees and service conditions can change the actual price.

Why the result matters

Accurate dimensions and weights help with quoting, space planning and avoiding preventable adjustments. Always use the packaged outside dimensions that will actually be tendered for transport, and verify any carrier-specific rules that affect billing or classification.
