This dedicated Euro pallet calculator removes the need to re-enter the common 120 × 80 cm footprint each time you test a carton pattern.

How to use this calculator

Enter carton dimensions in centimetres, maximum loaded height, pallet base height and carton weight. The pallet footprint is fixed at 120 × 80 cm for the geometric estimate.

Formula and method

Cartons per layer use straight and mixed rotated rows. Complete layers are calculated from usable stack height, then multiplied by cartons per layer.

Worked example

If ten cartons fit one layer and five complete layers fit below the height limit, the geometric estimate is 50 cartons per pallet before stability or pallet load limits are considered.

What to check before you ship

Actual EUR/EPAL specifications, pallet condition, load ratings, stacking strength and customer requirements still need verification.

Why the result matters

Accurate dimensions and weights help with quoting, space planning and avoiding preventable adjustments. Always use the packaged outside dimensions that will actually be tendered for transport, and verify any carrier-specific rules that affect billing or classification.
