How to use this calculator
Enter pallet size, box size, maximum allowed loaded height, pallet base height and weight per box. Keep all dimensions in the same selected unit.
Formula and method
The tool finds a high-count row arrangement for one pallet layer, calculates the number of complete vertical layers, then multiplies the two.
Worked example
A result of 12 boxes per layer and 4 layers means an estimated 48 boxes per pallet. If each box weighs 8 kg, the carton load is 384 kg before adding pallet and wrapping weight.
What to check before you ship
Maximum load weight, safe stacking strength and transport stability can become the limiting factors before geometric capacity is reached.
Why the result matters
Accurate dimensions and weights help with quoting, space planning and avoiding preventable adjustments. Always use the packaged outside dimensions that will actually be tendered for transport, and verify any carrier-specific rules that affect billing or classification.
